Next Dinner: Bristol GGD #27 – Girl Geeks discover Biochar – Wednesday 22nd May 2013

Our May dinner is being held on Wednesday 22nd at the University of Bristol from 6.30pm.

biocharThe speaker will be Melanie Bennet from the Bristol Biochar Foundation. ‘Biochar’ is a blanket term for charcoal when it is used for particular purposes, especially as a soil amendment.

This event is more science-oriented than a lot of our previous events have been, so will be a very interesting change. Please feel free to invite anyone who you think might be interested, including students.
