Bath Girl Geek Jade Hughes was part of the winning team during a recent Startup Weekend held in the city.
Jade, along with team members Rachel Dobb, Lauren Lucas and Andrew Nesbitt pitched their business ‘Greenage’ during the
event, and impressed judges by making exceptional progress with their business plan over the course of the weekend.
Greenage is an online up-cycling marketplace, which aims to become the go-to place for up-cycling, the use of materials which would otherwise be sent to landfill to create new produces of a higher value.
Jade is co-founder of Greenage, and a digital marketer by profession. She secured the provisional agreement of a supplier of wooden parts, and of two producers of up-cycled products, and also played a central role in the digital marketing strategy of the company.
