Sun, sea, sand and surfing is what Tauranga, NZ is all about! Surfing the web has also caught on and Tauranga’s IT industry is booming. In the sunny Bay of Plenty, Tauranga’s close-knit IT community has it’s fair share of Girl Geeks, so it was only natural that the Tauranga branch of Girl Geek Dinners would come to fruition. Our first dinner was on 27th November 2008 and was a great success, and our second dinner is Thursday 19th February – bring it on!
